Have troublesome tots that need a firm hand? Then Nanny McPhee may just be the answer to your prayers.

Oscar winner Emma Thompson wrote and stars in this live-action dark and witty fable about a nanny with magical powers who enters the Brown Family in order to tame seven very ill-behaved children.

Mr. Brown (played by Colin Firth) recently widowed, has lost control of his kids who have successfully run off seventeen other nannies. Thus enters the magical and mysterious Nanny McPhee.

The Kirk Jones film also stars grand dame Angela Lansbury as the domineering Aunt Adelaide in her first big screen appearance in twenty years.

Look for it in theaters on January 27, 2006.
