Buffy’s Friends May Go Direct to DVD

Due to the continued interest by fans for the “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” franchise, Joss Whedon is seriously considering bringing many of the series’ characters to a Direct-to-DVD format.

These movies would be totally focused “on some of the secondary characters,” says Marti Noxon, UPN executive producer of the TV Series.

Noxon also promised that if Whedon takes the Direct-to-DVD route the quality of the productions will continue to be of the hign standard the fans have become accustomed to.
