“Iron Man” — The Animated Series

“Iron Man” — The Animated Series

July 17, 2008 By Sam Sloan 4 Comments

Beginning in 2009 Nicktoons will play host to 26 animated episodes of the “Iron Man: Armored Adventures,” the new Marvel Studios Tony Stark/Iron Man series for the small screen.

Here’s your sneak peek:

Those going to this year’s San Diego Comic CON will be treated to a viewing of the entire first episode of the new series.

Series synopsis from Marvel.com:
“Tony Stark, heir to a billion-dollar corporation, lives a life of luxury, free to pursue his chief interests — seeing extreme thrills, solving scientific mysteries, and creating mind-boggling inventions.

But everything goes horribly wrong when a tragic accident robs Tony of his father and nearly costs him his own life. Now dependent on his own amazing technology for survival and dedicated to battling corruption, Tony must reconcile the pressure of teenage life with the duties of a super hero.

Inside his remarkable invention, Tony Stark is geared for high-speed flight, high-tech battles and high-octane adventure! He is IRON MAN!”

Join Tony, Rhodey and Pepper as they enter a high tech world of science, super-villains, and mystery… and square off against the malevolent MANDARIN!

What’s with teen looking superheroes? Where are the superheroes i grow up with? Those I used to idolize. They all looked like adults. Now they all look lame due to the bad choice of a few people to decide that they should look like infants. This was supposed to be Iron Man and not Iron Toddler.

I hear you. Having this Iron Teen is stupid. I want to see an adult battling not a child. They keep on bringing out these teen heroes like The New Avengers being the kids of the originals. ATTENTION MARVEL: WE DON’T CARE ABOUT THE KIDS!!! I want to see REAL heroes and not these childish knock offs.
