A huge Hollywood movie franchise could be getting a spin-off from the silver screen to your television screen.
And it’s not necessarily good news.
According to MovieHole, the Twilight Saga could be getting a spin-off series. Unfortunately, it’s not our new editor’s dream of a crossover with Buffy and the series in which Buffy stakes Edward.
“They’re already onto the [Breaking Dawn] follow-up … [a] TV show or film spinoff, merely set in the same world as the one in the movies but not featuring the main trio, is being seriously considered, [with] The Wolf Pack [as] one area of interest,” says an anonymous source.
One question facing the show is could they get author Stephenie Meyer involved.
This one’s still a rumor…but we’ll keep our ears opened for details.

Seriously?…let it die already…the Buffy crossover sounds better.

I remember hearing somewhere that they wanted to reboot Twilight, perhaps this is what they meant.

Remember that old TV ad for “Twisted Metal: Black”? The one with the wreckage everywhere, and this haunting cry coming from out of the distance that turned out to be a panicky caged bird?
Make it STOP! Make it STOP!
yeah… that’s how I feel about this, too.

No more freaking twilight or vampire loving shows please god. If I had to pick a mover franchise to spin off into a TV series I would pick these.
Star Wars (Original Trilogy, possibly a Rogue Squadron show)
Cube (Celebrity edition, build the real cube system and throw worthless celebs in it, I’m thinking the Kardashians and Paris Hilton and their ilk would be good for season 1)
Lord of the Rings (something in the universe, following a different set of characters)
That is all I can think of for now, it is hard to think of ones that either haven’t already had TV spin offs, or weren’t spin offs from TV to begin with.

I was thinking about this the other day. I was watching the movie “The Shadow” (the one based on the old radio show) with Alec Baldwin and thought they might be able to do something with that, but update it. A lot of the tech in that movie in the 20’s could be updated to today’s tech with few problems. Or you could keep it back then and try to keep the old tech. Either I would be happy with.

Why not keep the Shadow in the 20s or even 30s so he can fight Nazis who are trying to keep America out of the war.
