Curious to know what threat it will take for the Avengers to assemble on the big-screen next summer?

Many fans assumed that when the Hulk was announced as part of the project that it might be the Green Goliath who serves as the foe for the team. But according to Ain’t It Cool News, the Avengers will assemble to do battle with Loki.
According to the site, Marvel has assembled a trailer that feature Thor’s half-brother, played by Tom Huddleston, as the main villain. Loki is expected to be part of this summer’s “Thor” as well.
Adding to the rumors is a report on Latino Review that says Loki may summon the Skrulls to earth in the film.
As of now, all of this is just rumors.
I can’t remember a time when I was THIS excited about the development of a franchise.
The Marvel movies that have come out since the first Iron Man have been spectacular, and my excitement for both Captain America and Thor has me so giddy I’m like a little kid waiting for the first light of dawn on Christmas Day so that he can open all of his presents under the tree!!!
