Baccarin Promises More “V” Answers

February 1, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 5 Comments

Looking for answers on ABC’s “V”?

You’ll get them in the coming weeks says actress Morena Baccarin.

“I think from episode to episode you don’t get a break and we finally get to reveal all the stuff you’ve been waiting for us to reveal,” she tells EW. “Why are the Vs here? What do we need? Why haven’t we killed the humans yet and just taken over the planet? We obviously need the humans for something. You get to find all that out when you watch.”

“V” airs Tuesdays on ABC.

The problem with V is it’s inconsistent and sometime (actually most of the time) the characters do stupid things.
No one tries to show the FBI / The Public what a V looks like without the skin (even though it’s a war – the quickest way to gain allies is to show what they look like)
It’s a war, but only one of the group is willing to ACTUALLY fight it. The rest whine and moan “Oh we shouldn’t do this or that” etc.

And let me finally bring up these points:

    – Anna could hear a whisper from across 2 rooms last season. There have been two instances this season where that could of been useful.
    – Everyone seems to of forgot the ARMADA of ships coming to Earth (from the end of the mini series)
    – Red Sky? WTF? There was a big buildup for that???
    – SLOW episodes where nothing happens.

I would say, look at the 1980’s mini series of V. The tone and speed with how they crammed so much story into 4 hours. They did more in that mini series than the entire run of the new series.

I’ll keep watching it, buts it’s becoming a fun sport now on pointing these problems out.

    I agree…

I liked the most recent episode with Oded Fehr, an actor I like. I expected Hobbs to be the Ham Tyler character and he seems to be but hasn’t done anything BA.

Why aren’t they trying to recruit more chapters? While the show has had some great moments, that’s all it has had… great moments.

This show needs to move forward at some point and when will Diana get out of the basement!?

That’s because Erica has him on a leash.

    “SLOW episodes where nothing happens.”

You think this series has slow episodes that go nowhere? Go watch the original TV series (not the miniseries – the SERIES) and come back and tell me that. You probably can’t.

They took V offline and I do not have a lot of time. Its like ABC is just asking me to wait for it to be on DVD. So…I guess that is what I shell do

Who cares? All the answers in the world aren’t going to help the poor acting, dialog, and plots. Pretty much there isn’t one part of this show worth saving. Let it go.
