Cameron Starts Twitter Feed

January 31, 2011 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

Oscar-winning director James Cameron has embraced the world of social media.

Last Friday, he opened up his own account on Twitter with the first post saying, “ryan seacrest told me I had to get on Twitter. So here I am. First tweet. I feel younger already.”

If you want to follow the director, you can find him HERE. Since joining Friday, Cameron has attracted 42,000 followers.

“It’s easy,” he wrote of the social networking site. “Short smartass answers have always been a specialty of mine.”

The new Twitter feed has already led to Kim Kardashian approaching him for a role.

“@JimCameron! I’m ready for my leading role in 3D! LOL,” he wrote.

Cameron responded, “Kim, you’re already in 3D! See you on #Sanctum 2”
