With Zach Snyder taking the helm for the Superman reboot, another domino has fallen in the world of superhero directors.
According to Vulture, Darren Aronofsky has been offered the reigns of “Wolverine II.” The move would have Aronofsky and Hugh Jackman team up again. The two worked together on “The Fountain.”
Vulture also reports that Aronofsky was in the running to direct the new Superman film, but Warner Brothers eventually went with Snyder.
Ummm…ya’ll SAW The Fountain, right? You didn’t? Oh…well, then…I think that says it all.
Actually loved The Fountain.
I only hope that the video and editing are better than the first one. I can say I haven’t really watched these much after seeing both the “unedited” version that was leaked and going to the theater to watch the finished product. There really wasn’t much difference between the two.
