OK, first off, Props to McHale for getting a paycheck.
2nd: Spy Kids? SPY KIDS? 1, 2, and 3-D weren’t enough, now they have to REBOOT the series?

    Why, yes, I am disgusted

too soon for a reboot. what in the wide wide world of sports is a goin on here with all the damn reboots of franchises that are not that old? This is getting ridiculous. I wish failure on this film and all of the other ridiculous reboots in the works!

I am not a big fan of reboots. But it’s hard for me to build any nerd-rage on this one. Rodriguez is rebooting his OWN FILMS. He made them. He wants to remake/re-imagine them? Fine. He’s done this before. El Mariacho -> Desperado.

I love the raw enthusiasm Rodriguez brings to his films. He just thinks making movies is cool and you can see that one the screen. Plus, I am all about supporting filmmakers who have done such a fantastic job of telling the standard studio system to go stand in the corner, he’s doing his own thing his own way. I like that.

All I want to know is: When are we going to start having reboots of movies that were made LAST YEAR?!
Actually, can we get some studio to give Joss Whedon *200* million to “re-boot” SERENITY??
    Damn.

That having been said: At least it’s Rodriguez re-doing his own film.
I’m sure he’ll be trying to do things and put things in that he wasn’t able to in the previous editions.

    TallGrrl,

After Joss Wheadon’s “Avengers” is a huge freaking hit, maybe he’ll finally be able to talk someone into doing a big screen version of the sequel to “Serenity”

Can we have Machete return to Spy kids too, only this time with more pyrotechnics?

I’m sorry, but I cannot see Joel McHale married to Jessica Alba.
