No Implants for “Pirates 4” Extras

March 18, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 12 Comments

If you’re want one of the female extras in the upcoming production of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” you’ll need to be fit, have a lean dancer’s body and no implants.

The casting call for female extras reads as follows:

Beautiful Female Fit Models. Must be 5?7-5?8, Size 4 or 6 – NO BIGGER OR SMALLER. Age 18-25. Must have a lean dancer body. MUST have real breasts. Do not submit if you have implants. This is a show and tell of costumes with the director and the producers. Plan on an entire day of trying on clothes and being photographed.

Professional Dancers who are Swimmers. Females ONLY. Age 18-30. All elasticities. YOU MUST have an extensive dance/swimming resume. We will be shooting in Hawaii.

No word yet on exactly how these extras will be used in the film. Production on the fourth installment in the series begins later this year.

Where is the casting call for “breast verification specialist”?

Honestly, this sounds like something concocted by randy high school guys. “Sorry hon, we need to check those for hidden implants . . . hey, Burt; c’mon here and git me a second opinion on these”.

I’m seeing a Rocketts kick line/Busby Burkley swimming scene, with a string of girls peeling off to dive into water, possibly off a pier or off the side of a ship, then performing some synchronized swimming.

Not that the information above is ANY SORT of clue AT ALL.

Keira Knightley apparently has a bit of pull on this installment. She is vehemently “anti-augmentation”….. She had an photo-editor trashed for airbrushing a cup size on her for a publicity photo once.

If a “Pirates” movie is casting for female swimmers, it can only mean one thing.

    Mermaids.

Perhaps unaugmented mermaids, seen only from a distance, could keep the film to a PG-13 rating?

Interesting. I didn’t put in that link to the encyclopedia article about mermaids. Does this forum always do that with unfamiliar words?

Totally must be mermaids. Fake boobs underwater are weird looking and kinda gross.

Do implants count as a PFD?
