Glau Joins “The Cape”

Summer Glau is coming back to television.

The actress, best known for her roles on “Firefly” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” has joined the cast of NBC’s pilot, “The Cape.”

The series follows follows a framed former cop who turns to vigilantism, fighting bad guys as a masked hero called The Cape.

Glau will play an investigative blogger who also fights crime and corruption from behind a mask.

    I love the “Kick @ss” concept, but I can see this as being another major fail for her. Too bad, she’s a great actress. However, I WILL be watching it.

    What is with all of the new superhero shows lately? The Sci-Fi Channel just announced that they’re having TWO superhero shows in the next year or so (“Three Inches” and “Alphas”).

    For me, “Smallville” is enough.

    Thank God this is on NBC, not FOX. Summer Glau’s going 3 for 3 as far as shows she’s been on that were cancelled by FOX, if you count Dollhouse. Man, she needs to be in more things. I guess this is a step in the right direction
