The behind-the-scenes woes for “Flash Forward” continue with news that executive producer David Goyer has decided to step down. Goyer’s departure comes with five episodes left to produce for the series’ first season.
“As my feature projects have started ramping up again, I felt I was being pulled in too many directions. I’m proud of the show and excited about the relaunch. It’s in great hands,” Goyer said in a statement.
Goyer replaced producer Marc Guggenheim earlier this season when Guggenheim stepped aside.
There’s no word yet on who will replace Goyer for the final run of episodes this year.

The end of this show is in sight. This is not a good sign when you lose 2 producers in the first half of the season.
They’ve lost 2 showrunners already? Talk about a troubled show!
Honestly, I don’t see why these series even needs a second season. The whole point of the plot is the countdown to the day in April where we find out how many of these visions will come true. So, we get to that point and maybe a few episodes after that to deal with the fallout. Is there really any reason to go beyond that?
