Dr. Curt Conners Confirmed For “Spidey 4”

Dr. Curt Conners Confirmed For “Spidey 4”

October 23, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

73943788VA120_Premiere_Of_SActor Dylan Baker played Dr. Curt Connors in the first three installments of the “Spider-Man” franchise.

UGO has confirmed that the actor has signed on for the upcoming “Spider-Man 4” causing many to wonder if this might be an indication of who the villian is in the next installment.

For those of you won’t aren’t up on your Spidey-lore, Connors is also the Lizard.   Speculation has it that the Lizard could be one of the the villians in the next installment.

Director Sam Raimi has kept mum on who might be the nemesis for Spidey in the next film.   Actor Bruce Campbell has said he will have a “more significant” role in the next installment, leading to some specualation he may take on the role of Mysterio.

However,  right now it’s all just rumor and speculation.

    Correction:

While Dr. Curt Conners was mentioned in the first Spider-man movie, he didn’t actually make an appearance.

Also, if the Lizard is “one of” the villains is Spider-man 4, I hope he’s the only one. The only time the multiple villain gimmick has worked was in The Dark Knight. Every other time, it’s been a disaster.

Just b/c this guy is in the movie could mean that he once again has a cameo as the professor at Peter Parker’s school. ** turns toward kitchen, ponders bowl of meat **
