Welcome to the mid-week installment of Slice of SciFi! On today's show, we talk to Salli Richardson-Whitfield. You probably know her best from her role as Dr. Allison Blake on SyFy's Eureka. Salli is also a guest at the upcoming Phoenix Comicon, so if you're in the area why don't you stop by and say hello! And you can also catch some of the Slice crew there as well.

SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
eh... i thought it was rushed... it should have been 2 movies.... the doomsday device was destroyed waaaay to easily.. with one bullet actually... and the fallen for having near magical powers, was killed very quickly as well.
In my oppinion, Optimus Prime should have stayed dead till the beginning of the 3rd movie, and one or two of the other autobots could have destroyed the ray o doom. Or heck ...what about the rail gun... it hit the destroyer droid which was on the pyramid, it could have fired again at the pyramid and destroyed the ray o doom.
Idk... it just felt that the end of the movie was sooooo rushed. They could have taken their time, made a "darker" ending to the movie and then had Optimus Prime do all his "ass kickery" in an entire movie... But hey what do i know im just an average guy
p.s
It didnt help that the fallen was voiced by the man that played Kurn in ST:TNG.. I was like heeeeeeeeey wait a minute... oh thats tony todd.. Hes a great actor... but every time he spoke i was thinking House of Mogh. lol
so it was okay.. like 4 out of 10 for me.
p.s.s
Do we really need to see more SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW motion running in front of explosions? i mean comeon.... sure i like to see Megan Fox running in slow motion(for 30 minutes it seemed), but old, over used movie technique is over used and old.
okay im done. lol
