“Virtuality” Airs Tonight on Fox

THE CREW OF THE PHAETON EMBARKS ON A 10-YEAR JOURNEY THROUGH OUTER SPACE TO SAVE THE EARTH IN THE ORIGINAL SCIENCE-FICTION THRILLER “VIRTUALITY”

From Ron Moore and Michael Taylor, the minds behind “Battlestar Galactica,” comes the World Broadcast Premiere of the new science-fiction thriller VIRTUALITY. As the crew of the Phaeton approaches the go/no-go point of their epic 10-year journey through outer space, the fate of Earth rests in their hands. The pressure is intense, and the best bet for helping the crew members maintain their sanity is the cutting-edge virtual reality technology installed on the ship. It’s the perfect stress-reliever until a glitch in the system unleashes a virus onto the ship. Tensions mount as the crew decides how to contain the virus and complete their mission. Meanwhile, every step of the journey and every minute of the crew members’ lives are being taped for a reality show back on Earth.

The two-hour movie, “Virtuality” airs tonight at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.

I wonder what Fox will do with this now. I’m curious, and I want to see more, to see where they go with it.

Sorry Summer, it came in last place in the ratings, and was placed in the Friday Night deathslot. TSCC was cancelled with twice their numbers. Unlikely.

I’m so pissed! I came home after my cardiac workout and totally forgot the show was on and didn’t DVR it. Damn! I went to bed early cause I was so tired after working all day and then the workout. Really pissed at myself for missing this. I am down flying BT airlines in hopes of seeing it.

My dh and I thought it was great! We watched it on hulu in HD. The cgi of the ship is very good. I hope this goes further from here, although, I am not naive enough to think it will.

I know… but I can wish. They didn’t advertise it enough, and in the two ads I did see, they never mentioned the Ron Moore connection. Maybe it’s ratings on Hulu will be better.

Is it time already to start the send fox salt campaign? FOX NEEDS MORE SALT!
I don’t know if I can handle another Fox induced heat break. If they scrap it I may have to give up on TV for good and just read to get my sci-fi fix.
