Reynolds: “Deadpool” Moving Forward

Reynolds: “Deadpool” Moving Forward

June 1, 2009 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

Actor Ryan Reynolds says the proposed “Wolverine” spin-off “Deadpool” is moving forward and that he is involvement in it.

“Yeah, it’s in the works,” Reynolds told SciFi Wire. “That’s about all I can really say. They’re actively hashing [it] out.”

Reynolds added that he has been involved in the creative process. “I’m meeting with them all the time,” he said. “We’re in constant contact, and it’s just a matter of breaking the spine of the story and figuring out what it is and who’s the villain.”

Reynolds went on to say that he’s looking forward to meeting up with other Marvel Comics icons on the big screen.

“Look, I’m into any role in which I get to kick Captain America in the nuts,” he said.

I still think casting Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool in the Wolverine movie and now this spin off was a bad decision.
