  • Twitter is expanding to television.  The popular social networking site signed a deal this week to create a reality game show.
  • Sci-Fi to Sci-Fact: The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.  Could it be taking one step closer to reality?
  • Looking for a good summer read?  Guillermo Del Toro and Chuck Hagan’s new vampire novel, “The Strain” is hitting stores this week.

Mike’s Movie Minute:”Terminator: Salvation”

Movie Talk:

  • They’re talking about a “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” reboot without the involvement of Joss Whedon.  Blasphemy!
  • The BBC confirmed a script for a big screen “Doctor Who” script is in development.

Slice of Trivia: This week Kurt in St. George tests the studio crew and you with three new clips. Email your clips to Kurt. Your entries could get picked and played on the show.

TV Talk: Anthony Stewart Head talks about his role as Uther on the “Merlin.” This BBC-produced series will begin airing in the U.S. in June.

Interview: This week, we talk to actor Ray Wise.  Wise has had a wide and varied career but may be best known to our listeners for his roles on “Reaper” and “Twin Peaks.”

In the Future:

  • Another reboot story.  This time it’s Disney looking to make a new “Flight of the Navigator.”
  • And finally, they’re writing a script for “Bazooka Joe: The Movie.”   No, we’re not kidding…

    When I see references to Wolfram Alpha, I cannot help but think of Wolfram and Hard from the Angel series.

    I just hope they are not the ones running this.
