Trailer for “Moon”

April 22, 2009 by Michael Hickerson   || Category: Film News

Think “Castaway” on the moon. Sony Pictures has release the first trailer for the upcoming “Moon.” The movie is directed by Duncan Jones and stars Sam Rockwell as astronaut Sam Bell. Sam has a quintessentially personal encounter toward the end of his three-year stint on the Moon, where he, working alongside his computer, GERTY, sends back to Earth parcels of a resource that has helped diminish our planet’s power problems.

“Moon” opens in theaters on June 12.

I’m thinking more “Silent Running” than “Cast Away”.. Still looks interesting, though.

With Rockwell in the film it will certainly be interesting, entertaining and a tad quirky….one of America’s most underated actors in my opinion. I am looking forward to this film.

Was that a FlowB they were using to cut his hair? :D
I saw a man alone in space with a computer and I thought, “How are they going to keep people from thinking of 2001?”

The trailer is goofy here at work, but i agree with tensa. The 1st thing i thought of when i saw the computer blurb.. 2010 Space Odyssey. What are you doing Dave?
