Anyone else have a flashback to “The Greatest Show in the Galaxy” when they saw the bus in the desert?

Almost as many as had flashbacks to Iris Wildthyme, who actually uses a Double Decker bus in the books.

Could someone remind me: When are we getting new Who?

I forgot that we were getting a special (or is it 2 or 3??) and then no new season until 2010?

Next week, then we wait till a time for the next special to be announced. The number of specials seems to be controled by RTD Voodoo, we just arn’t sure. The retool for HD and other things will give us a full (Britt) series in 2010.

This is the first of four specials this year. I’m not sure whether or not that includes their annual Christmas special, though.

The first of four specials that aren’t being shown in the US.

I know most UK viewers might be glad about that, but I really love the series and I’m constantly hoping that I’ll get to see these specials … sometime.

Well you see, there is this tube that runs all the way over to the BBC and I fill it with dump trucks carring media back and forth. Actually most UK DW fans are quite sympathetic to the plight of DW fans outside of the UK and want to get things closer to a global realease. Its the BEEB and the US networks that have the issue of coming to terms of global demand. Not to mention the fact that the mill and other post production was not finished until alomst the last second. I asure you that you will see them soon, the demand is increasing here (Rightfully so).

Well, the “Voyage of the Damned” special was shown in the US, along with Season 4 on the Sci-Fi Channel (that was about a year ago). But these specials are separate from any seasons. I’m hoping I don’t have to wait until 2010 just see them along with Season 5, which I believe will be shown in the US at that time. I don’t think the Sci-Fi Channel (SyFy, by then) would pass that up.
