Neil Patrick Harris Eager For Dr. Horrible Sequel

December 22, 2008 By Mike Hickerson 2 Comments

Actor Neil Patrick Harris, who played Dr. Horrible in “Doctor Horrible’s Sing Along Blog” says he’s eager and ready to do a sequel, whenever Joss Whedon is ready.

“Oh, God, I wish I could say there was going to be a ‘Dr. Horrible’ sequel, but I know there’s so many people involved in the creation of it that have a lot of other stuff going on right now,” Harris said. “Mainly, Joss [is doing] ‘Dollhouse’, and he has another movie, ‘Cabin in the Woods’, that he’s doing at the same time. So I don’t know that anything would happen soon. But everyone has been super-enthusiastic about it, and I think that means that hopefully something will come.”

And now that he’s worked with Whedon, does this mean we could see Harris in other Whedon ventures, like the upcoming “Dollhouse”?

“Wow! Well, you know, I’m in CBS’ corner right now because of ‘How I Met Your Mother’, so I don’t know that I’d be able to, but I think it’s produced by 20th Century Fox, so, you know, they’re sort of cousins,” he said. “That would be fun! All right. I’ll ask Joss! I like being a cousin in the Whedon family, so whatever he wants me to do. Except porn.”

    I second that.

I sooooooooooo want to see NPH in more feature films, different roles. The man can ACT people. He has recently become my (first and only) favorite actor. He literally exudes talent….

Make it happen Joss!! Let’s see some good feature films with NPH!!
