In the dinner scene of “Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country,” Chancellor Gorkon says the only way to experience Shakespeare’s classic play “Hamlet” is to experience it in the “original Klingon.”
Audiences will have the chance to do that when Paramount releases the sixth “Trek” movie on Blu-Ray according to the Pioneer Press.  Minnesota’s Commedia Beauregard theater group, who offer performances of the full text of “Hamlet” in Klingon, are working with Paramount to create two famous scenes from the play in Klingon. One is the famous “To be or not to be” scene and the other will be gravedigger scene (“Alas, poor Yorich.”)
For the second scene, a Klingon skull will be featured for the famous soliloquy.Â
Perhaps I will be able to get both player AND movie after Christmas…
Sounds like they may have planned my next holiday trip for me.

Now i’m beginning to which I had a Blu-Ray player! It’s not fair that they are doing this for only that! 🙁 Seeing Shakespear done in Klingon would be absolutley hilarious!
This may be the thing that convices me to get a BluRay player…
but atleast have quite a few months to decide.

Like so many of us, I was inspired by that scene from Star Trek VI, and even furthermore by KLI’s translation of Hamlet. I wanted to film this a year ago, but had major delays. This end product was rushed, btu i am proud of it nonetheless. Qapla’!
