Director Ridley Scott won’t pass go and he won’t collect $200. Instead, he’ll slide into the director’s seat for the upcoming movie version of “Monopoly.”
Universal Pictures is developing the big-screen adaption of the popular Parker Brothers board game from a script by Pamela Pettler.
Pettler is the writer of “Monster House” and “Corpse Bride.”
There’s no word yet on exactly how the board game will make translate to the big screen. The game is one of several Parker Brothers games in development for the big screen. Other games that could see the silver screen treatment are “Ouija” and “Battleship.”
Does this mean the dog will be a Replicant?
