The Last Sign of the Apocalypse — Knight Rider Gets Full Season Pick-up

October 21, 2008 By Sam Sloan 6 Comments

NBC has picked up “Knight Rider” for a full season. Last week it announced that the network would add at least 4 new episodes to this season’s order. Now, the network has ordered another nine episodes making it a full season run for the action-drama remake of the popular 1980’s show that originally featured David Hasselhoff as Michael Knight and his talking car K.I.T.T., voice then by actor William Daniels.

Today’s version still has K.I.T.T. except its not a Trans AM but a souped-up Mustang and K.I.T.T.’s voice is provided by the heft Val Kilmer. Starring in the lead, driving K.I.T.T. is Justin Bruening (“All My Children”) as Mike Traceur

The new “Knight Rider” airs on NBC every Wednesday night.

    um… *whispers* i um…. well… like the show….
    OH GOD DONT SHOOT!!!!!! LOL

i agree with the fella above me… its sad when firefly doesn’t get picked up and knight rider does.. clearly knight rider is NOT even close to the quality that was firefly.. but… that being said.. I dvr knight rider and i rather enjoy it. Its kinda like the transporter movies.. sure you have to suspend disbelief for an hour or so… but isnt that what science FICTION is about?

p.s dont flame me to badly. LOL
