Sky One has acquired exclusive rights to air the new “Battlestar Galactica” prequel from Ron Moore and David Eick titled “Caprica” for the channel’s new fall schedule in the United Kingdom.

“Caprica” will star Esai Morales (“NYPD Blue,” “Jericho”), Paula Malcolmson (“Lost,” “Deadwood”) and Eric Stoltz (“Pulp Fiction,” “Triangle”). [pictured]

Other U.S. shows for Sky One this fall will include the popular animated series “Futurama,” “The Simpsons” and Kiefer Sutherland’s FBI thriller “24.”
