Robert Picardo on Slice of SciFi July 19, 2008

July 17, 2008 By S. K. Sloan 1 Comment

Our special guest this week is Robert Picardo, a veteran actor who has starred in such hit television series’ as the “Wonder Years,” “China Beach,” “Star Trek: Voyager” and “Stargate SG-1.”

Robert can now be seen every week as a series regular on the People’s Choice Award winning show “Stargate: Atlantis,” reprising his SG-1 role of IOA overseer Richard Woolsey. He will soon be seen on the big screen in the horror story “Sensored,” doing voice-work for the animated film “Quantum Quest: A Cassini Space Odyssey” with fellow actors John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson and James Earl Jones and in the sports drama “Chasing the Green” from director Russ Emanuel.

This will be Robert’s second visit to Slice of SciFi. He was our guest in August 2007 from Las Vegas. He joins us this weekend to bring us up-to-date about his work on Atlantis as the station’s new director, replacing Col. Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping) as the new chief.

Join us for all the latest news in SF and genre-related entertainment and our interview with Robert Picardo beginning this Saturday, July 19, 2008 online, iTunes or your favorite podcatcher and again on July 28, 2008 on XM-Satellite Radio’s Sonic Theater.
