Looks like James Bond, agent 007, isn’t the only superspy with a license to kill. At least not according Saudi billionaire Prince Waleed Bin Talal, says Variey Middle East.

The prince’s studio Rotana Films will soon be introducing the Arab world’s first big screen secret agent based on Egyptian novelist Nabil Farouk’s popular best selling book “Ragol al mostaheel,” which translated into English means “Man of the Impossible.”

The book, which was published 25 years ago, follows the adventures of the Bond-like superagent named Adham Sabri as he foils such rival intelligenct agencies as Israel’s Mossad, America’s CIA and Russia’s KGB.

“We’re going to hold a beauty contest of Arab producers and decide who we want to work with,” stated Rotana Films prexy Frederic Sichler. “There is no doubt it will be one of the most important productions in the Middle East next year. It might not be that exciting for people in Los Angeles but it marks a major step forward for us in the Middle East.”
