War Games 2 Trailer

War Games 2 Trailer

June 23, 2008 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

As we’ve previously reported on Slice of SciFi, a sequel to 1983’s classic War Games is on its way. War Games: The Dead Code is a direct to home theater release from MGM, slated for release on July 29.

Starring Matt Latner and Amanda Walsh, War Games: The Dead Code follows the story of computer hacker Will Farmer (Lanter) engages a goverment super-computer named Ripley in an online terrorist-attack simulation game. Little does Farmer know that Ripley has been designed to appeal to potential terrorists, and certain glitches have turned made him become paranoid.

A preview for the upcoming release is available below.

Well, we just watched the movie. I hate when trailers give the whole thing away. Granted I saw the first movie, but still!

A two minute trailer gave away the movie, can’t imagine this as 90 or more minutes long. No wonder it is going direct to DVD, just fast forward it back to trailer time length….looks like all Canadian stars and location, pretending to be American again.
