“Mudd Jones and the ___ of ___” just doesn’t have the same ring to it… but maybe he and Indy can work it out over another movie with both of them.

Damn it Sam you’ve given too many choices the:

“The only one who should retire from Indiana Jones is George Lucas as a writer for the franchise.”

choice overrides any choice I’d like to make. I also think that Shia could continue the series.

If it means we get to see more movies like The Crystal Skull, I’d say it’s time to close up shop on this franchise.

It’s Mutt Williams. And I couldn’t help but notice that again, the pattern of “Dog’s name”-“Average surname”…

I think Mutt could carry his own spinoff franchise. It’d be something different to the Indy movies, but with the same spirit.

Technically Sam, it would be Shia continuing the series as “Jones III”, not “Jones Jr.”, as you point out, since Indiana is already the Junior.

I think it could continue with Shia, but I would have Indiana in there somewhere, playing back up. Have Mutt find his own hat, though. Maybe the Brando one he had on in the movie, though a more adult hat would be more fitting. The Bowler needs to make a comeback!

To Bronzethumb: I didn’t even notice the dog thing. Silly me.

    Sam,

Never mind. That’s why you put the Jr. (Jr.).
