Take Your Valentine To See “Jumper”

January 23, 2008 By Sam Sloan 3 Comments

jumper.jpgThere are people out there with power. They realize that you are what you are and they can change history — But! There are always consequences!

On February 15, 2008 Hayden Christensen learns the price to be paid for being unlike the rest of humanity.

Hayden stars as a young man with a genetic anomaly which allows him to teleport anywhere, anytime. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between those called “Jumpers.” — And there are some without this power that are out to to kill them.

“Jumper” is directed by Doug Liman (all three Bourne feature films) from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer (“Batman Begins,” “The Dark Knight”), Jim Uhls (“Fight Club”) and Simon Kinberg (“X-Men: The Last Stand”) and based on the Steven Gould novel.

Joining Christensen are co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Diane Lane, Jamie Bell, Rachel Bilson and Tom Hulce.

Liman only directed the first one. Paul Greengrass did Supremacy & Ultimatum.

That is true, however, he served as executive producer for Supremacy & Ultimatum.

Dude…if this is really what you have planned for your Valentine…good luck. You’re going to need it.
