Where’s “Con Air” or “The Rock”? I think those two are better than the ones on the list.

None on that list. I vote for ‘8mm’ with Joaquin Phoenix.

The only problem with Valley Girl and 8mm is they are not SF or genre-related. Con Air and The Rock come damn close and I certainly thought long and hard about adding them to the list….but, eventually opted them out.

“Vampire’s Kiss” is one of the most bizzare performances ever. I’ll pick that over any of the others on that list.

Nic Cage is the most overrated actor of our generation. His only good movie was Raising Arizona. Why people continue to consider him a good actor is beyond me.

Anything that has stunts that defy most known laws of physics and a few we haven’t figured out yet should really qualify as scifi 🙂

Dave: Maybe you’re just watching the wrong movies. Have you sen The Weather Man yet? Not Wicker Man, that was awful (though honestly i never liked the original either), but Weather Man. Oh, and Adaptation, that was really good too.
