Janine, showcased all the designers, sculptors, painters and artists that are featured in the new, highly praised book edition called “The Shatner Show.” The various sculptors and paintings of this project all revolve around the different aspects of that man we all know and love, and who was the source of inspiration for all who participated; their fellow Canadian — William Shatner.

The work found in “The Shatner Show” publication by Janine Vangool and Glen Dresser, was exhibited at the Uppercase Gallery in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for two full months from June through August of this year. Uppercase highlights the world of graphic design through its gallery, books & papergoods. The gallery presents work by illustrators, photographers and graphic designers. The eclectic book selection features titles hand-picked for their uniqueness and quality of design and content. The collection of greeting cards and paper products are designed by Janine’s “Vangool Design & Typography.” Go HERE for a list of all the artists featured in “The Shatner Show.”

We have lots of other news and information on the show including:

Some news about the audio feature “Star Trek: The Continuing Mission,” a SCI-FI to SCI-FACT concerning the latest in genetic engineering, and we tell you what the new Indy 4 movie will be called.

In Movie Talk we tell you all about the DVD release of “Transformers” and what you can expect to find on the dics. “Farscape” fans will love to hear about a film coming soon to DVD starring Gigi Edgley.

TV Talk is all about “Saving Harry Dresden.”

Doug is back this week with three new Trivia Clips in our Special Segment.

The Future is looking good with the new Lawrence Bender production of “Outside” and not so bright with Screen Gems getting ready to remake “The Stepfather.”

Be sure to join us on Saturday, September 18, 2007 for all this and our latest contest information. See you then.
