**Announcement** — Slice of SciFi Programming Change Update

June 29, 2007 By Sam Sloan 7 Comments

Beginning with Slice of SciFi Show #115 on June 30, 2007, we are changing the release day for all future shows. In order to better sync with XM-Satellite Radio, new episodes for the Slice of SciFi Show will be ready for download on Saturday instead of Wednesday as is the current scheduling period.

The Voice Mail show will move from Tuesday to Friday starting June 29, 2007.

For our LIVE FEED listeners the Slice of SciFi Voice Mail and regular show will now be recorded on Thursday evenings at approximately 5:30PM Mountain (Arizona) Time.

We look forward to continue bringing you our best in scifi and genre related news and interviews on this new day beginning next week.

That sucks! I guess I can look forward to listening on Mondays now being that I generally don’t listen on the weekends.

Well Mike, that’s the great thing about the internet and podcasts. Once it is in the RSS feed you can download it anytime and not have to worry about missing an episode because you can’t listen to the same day it first comes out.

So, lets see, that would make it 10:30am on Friday morning in Melbourne. Cool, no more sleep deprived conversations in the chatroom.

The recording for Voice Mail and the regular SoSF show still will take place on Thursday with the Live Feed also still on Thursday evening around 5:30PM Arizona (USA) time.

It will simply be ready for download on Friday now instead of Tuesday and the regular show will be ready to download on Saturday now instead of Wednesday.

This is off the subject but I just realised that the date and time on the comments is in Web-goddess Nina-time (or June 29th at 6:47am in Germany).

Yes it is and I asked her to keep it that way as a good compromise for date/time posting.

i think thats a great idea. i heard a truck driver on the show once saying she was able to get all the shows until later. a later date also allows them to gather more content together.
either way its still a great podcast.

    good work guys,

    tim and darcy
