Reclusive Author John Twelve Hawks Launches Website

May 25, 2007 By Sam Sloan 6 Comments

59704_hawks_john_twelve.gifImages taken from a variety of sources, including Tibetan Buddhism and the surveillance & privacy issues that inspire John Twelve Hawks (“The Traveler”) work, help set the tone as John takes you deeper into is philosophy and unique vision. Visitors can view videos and photos of the actual settings in his novels taken by John Twelve Hawks himself, read an encyclopedia that further explores the world he has created in his novels, and post questions that John may personally answer on the message board.

Here is how John Twelve Hawks describes the concept behind this site:

“This website attempts to reflect certain aspects of the sixth realms found in The Tibetan Book of the Dead. I wanted to remind myself and others of the beautiful places in our world (the Third Realm). I wanted to describe the systematic attacks on freedom within our own society (the Fourth Realm). No vision of Hell can ignore the fact that both compassion and the strength of the human spirit can resist evil (the First Realm). The Second Realm gives readers more information about the fictional world of the trilogy while the Fifth Realm provides images of the real-life settings that appear in the novels. My vision of heaven (the Sixth Realm) had to include a room where you could drink a glass of wine and listen to a jukebox playing an infinite variety of great music.” — JTH

The second novel in John Twelve Hawks Fourth Realm Trilogy, “The Dark River” will be released July 10, 2007. For more details on this and other John Twelve Hawks novels go HERE.

I have been hanging out for the follow-up book to The Traveller. This was a book that I read sorta by accident – and just loved!!

Someone help me out with this one, please. On pg. 328 The Traveler, Gabriel notes that the wind is rattling the leaves of the Joshua trees. Do Joshua trees really have leaves?
