Update On “Stolen Life” Release

April 12, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 1 Comment

The creators of the Claudia Black and Chris Jones animated feature “Stolen Life” are working hard to get the anticipated feature ready for DVD purchase online.

If you want advance notice of the release we recommend you go to NANOFLIX.net and bookmark the page so you can be added to the site’s update list. From this site you can also view a trailer and pics.

You can also get all the latest news and chat about “Stolen Life” at the Nanoflix blog site.

“Stolen Life” is the latest 3D animated machinima feature-length film from Nanoflix, the same creative force behind “Killer Robot,” and a real cool look at true Future Noir.

The story centers around a lone spacecraft after it makes a landing on a what appears to be an isolated, barren asteroid. The traveller in the craft is a machine and a private investigator.

The ateroid turns out to be a refuelling station, a halfway point for missions to the outer reaches of the solar system. It was, until they shut it down. What happened here?

Pi, (the investigator) finds an inactive robot. He revives her. This is Kieru, the facility manager. Why did the company take so long to send an investigator? It takes a bit of work to get it out of him but Pi admits there’s trouble in other facilities.

You can catch all the background in the development of this exciting feature and a futher look into its storyline HERE.

The Australian Gamer has a really good interview with “Stolen Life” creators Peter Rasmussen and Jackie Turnure on their Website.
