Tough list, Sam!
There are a lot of movies here I like. “Arachophobia”… there’s a fun one I haven’t seen in a while.
And, in the relative context of this list, I’d have to personally say that “Monster House” was 10 times more disappointing than “War of the Worlds”.
I expected WotW to not be up to par going in, so my expectations were not completely shot. But “Monster House”? I had managed to miss any reviews, and rented it when it came out on DVD, and after it was over, that face was the only thing that prevented me from throwing it away.
If I could make two votes, I’d say “Taken” for TV, and I would have to make a choice between “Jaws”, “Poltergeist” and “Jurassic Park” for movie, and that’s a tough call…

I picked “Back to the Future”. It’s the best time travel movie ever.

What no Dawsons Creek, oh wait that was just Dawson that was obsessed with Spielburg. 😉
