“Pathfinder”: An Epic Film

March 21, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 3 Comments

In an untamed, primordial America, 500 years before Columbus will reach its shores, unfolds an epic battle between love and hate that will change one man’s destiny and the future of a nation in the 20th Century Fox epic film “PATHFINDER.”

This action-adventure saga recreates one of the most riveting, yet never-before-seen, eras in human history – when Viking “dragon” ships from the mysterious Norse lands arrived out of nowhere to invade a pristine North America. Inspired by historical findings, yet forged with the magic and style of a modern graphic novel, “Pathfinder” comes to life in a cinematic experience filled with intense and primal action.

Directed by Marcus Nispel (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”), the film stars Jay Tavare (“Cold Mountain”), Nicole Munoz (“The Last Mimzy”), Clancy Brown (“Lost” “Carnivale”), Karl Urban (“Doom”) and Michelle Thursh (“Forever Knight”). The award winning Native American actor Russell Means (“Natural Born Killers” “Last of the Mohicans”) stars as the powerful shaman Pathfinder.

“Pathfinder” opens nationwide on Friday April 13, 2007.

The endless delays can spell only one thing for the possible outcome of this movie. Flop.
