Pod-Novelist Coming Into Their Own

March 1, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 8 Comments

The New York Times has taken notice of the impact that internet podcasting, and the Pod Novel in particular, are beginning to have on the world of literature and writing and the way it is presented to the public. This fairly new medium is starting to take the publishing industry by storm and changing the way fans are getting their novels, short stories and other types of literature.

Highlighted in the feature are several podnovelists including J.C. Hutchins, author of “The 7th Son,” Scott Sigler, Mark Jeffrey (Pocket and Pendant) and Tee Morris (co-author – Podcasting for Dummies).

It’s an exceptional piece, and I hope you’ll all check it out. (Note: Registration may be required to read the story.)

Thanks Bill. I had that ready to post within the article and totally forgot to add it to the story. Thanks again.

This is fantastic that mainstream press like the NYT is finally catching on. Here’s hoping that Siglar, Hutchins, Morris, et. al., will soon have those big NY publishers banging on their door to learn more.

I hope you won’t forget all of us pod-novel junkies when you make the really big time!

Tee’s just jealous that Scott is still in the closet and Tee has come out. 😉

    Brian,

Nice to see I wasn’t the only one thinking of an ‘in the closet’ joke there. 😀
