Need Justice? Got the Crew to Hire Right Here

February 20, 2007 By S. K. Sloan 3 Comments

Creative Impulse Publishing and Atlantis Studios are releasing “JFH: Justice-For-Hire”, a martial arts action/adventure based on the award-winning short film and upcoming major motion picture.

In an age where corporations hire private muscle to squash threats to domestic and overseas interests, the combatants of the Retribution industry must come to grips with the timeless Way of the Warrior and the expediencies of fame, profit, and survival.

jfh-sample01-sm.jpgThe “Justice-for Hire” short film directed by Jan Lucanus won the Entertainment Award in the 2006 Los Angeles Accolade Competition, and was an inductee in the 2005 Budo International Magazine Hall of Fame for Outstanding Achievement in Martial Arts for Motion Pictures and was most recently inducted into Action Martial Arts Magazine’s 2007 Hall of Honors.

This month, Creative Impulse Publishing officially launches the first wave of their 2007 comic book roster with “JFH: Justice for Hire” #1, written by Jan Lucanus and Jan C. Childress with pencils by Antonio Rojo, inks by Rick Bonilla, and colors by Veronica Rosado. The issue will be available for sale at the Justice For Hire Official Website starting February 23, 2007 and will continue as an ongoing series.

Both Creative Impulse Publishing and Atlantis Studios are supporting the release of “JFH: Justice for Hire” with appearances at the New York ComicCon February 23 – 25, 2007 at the Jacob Javits Center. Look for more information at the Creative Impulse Publishing booth #563 and the Atlantis Studios booth #960.

This a very cool concept with fun martial arts action. I can’t wait to see where the writers are going with this. Cool interior colors too. A definite read for action/comedy fans.

I didn’t see that cover. I got the cool one with the sexy chuaffeur sitting on the limo and it came with a kick-ass DVD. Anyone know when the the next issue will be out?
