Do you want to be a superhero with your own special name, unique ability and individual costume? Well, you can as the SCI FI Channel begins holding local auditions for their Second Season of surprise breakout reality hit “Who Wants To Be A Superhero.”

The unique and entertaining show was created by the legendary comic book creator Stan Lee, and was one of the surprise hits of the 2006 television season putting SCI FI into the reality TV game, but in a very enjoyable way.

Here is a list of Audition Locations and Touring Schedules:

Miami, FL 1pm – 3PM Dolphin Mall

January 14
Miami, FL 12 Noon – 2PM Dolphin Mall

*January 20-22 Dallas, TX
*January 26-28 San Antonio, TX
*February 3-4 Phoenix, AZ
*February 10-11 Bay Area, CA
*February 16-18 Los Angeles, CA
*February 24-25 St Louis, MO
*March 3-4 Spring Break – South Padre Island, TX
*March 10-11 Washington, DC

*Audition details for these cities will be available on the website one week prior.

The final winner will get their own comic book story from Lee and have a movie made about their character.

This show was a heavily edited pile of crap with no “real people” destined to win..just actors.

We’re still waiting for the comic book/movie with last season’s “winner”.

And yes, Tony, I agree that it was heavily edited and scripted. And it was far from the best on SCI FI. But, since it was only 6 episodes long, I found it just entertaining enough to finish watching the season.

Edited, yes scripted, I just don’t believe that is the case. But since I just tried out Sun. as “Blue Justice” I might find out for sure. Check me out at offical web sight in about a week, they are going to post the taped auditions.
