Writer-Director-Producer Hasraf “HaZ” Dulull is here to talk about his new animated feature MAX BEYOND, which was fully created with the Unreal Engine, and is just the first chapter in this new world of story possibilities.
HaZ talks about the process of actually developing and modifying the movie in engine, changing and enhancing the story as they developed more tools to use in the animation creation, and so much more.
There are plans to expand this story world with a video game (Xbox dev kits in the house), having gotten their feet wet creating a Fornite game, and exploring different ways of story telling without limits on technology and mediums.
MAX BEYOND will be available for Digital Download on April 22 in the UK, and on April 23 in the US.
Unreal Engine is a suite of tools from Epic Games for creatives to use to make video games, pre-viz for films, animated shorts and features and more.

I have no excuse for missing this except RealLife makes me distracted, so Oops.. I check in @ HaZ_Dulull to see what is what. He was working on Disney TV show.. Tried to keep up with Unreal Engine tools or podcast about the production,. Art skills I have are T-Square + protractor hub w/x & y scale arms on D size board (in mud room now).. I’m love watching excellent art – too little of it these days..
So, I will fetch movie put it on big TV and pour a drink and put RLife on pause.
Thanks Haz. Thanks for the interesting peek into the new way to get a movie done..
