Director Lee Thongkham stops by to talk about his new indie monster movie, THE LAKE, the importance to him to make this film in Thailand, about making the family connections an integral part of the story, and using practical effects where ever possible, including the large size monster.

The story is adapted from a Thai legend, and Lee took that legend to craft a vision of what he wanted the monster to look like, and having that built to scale in China and transported to Thailand for filming. And who do I need to beg to get creator commentary tracks on the home video release?

THE LAKE is available from Epic Pictures in theaters on March 10, and will be streaming on digital platforms on March 14, and on disc on April 14.
