Daren and Noah examine this alternate origin story of Venom, the symbiotic alien that attaches itself to reporter Eddie Brock, and debate whether or not this movie really needed to exist.

Is this just a Sony cash grab because they haven’t used the other characters from Spider-Man’s universe? They think so, and they think the movie flails, but in a fun kinda way.

They also think that better CGI and perhaps aiming for an R rating would have improved the movie immensely. Despite the story shortcomings, this is still a comic book action film that has fun and funny moments.
