Halt And Catch Fire is a new AMC Network series that follows the booming Texas tech computer growth in the 1980’s. Using its own tagline – “This is a story about speed, greed and shady deals.”
Hoping to continue the craze in programming that began with Mad Men the cable channel is looking thirty years later at the emergence of the digital computer age in the Texas Silicon Prairie.
The series comes from the pen of creators Christopher Cantwell (Vicariously, Krantz) and Christopher C. Rogers with an all-star cast that includes Lee Pace (Hobbit Trilogy, Pushing Daisies), Scoot McNairy (12 Years A Slave) and Mackenzie Davis (That Awkward Moment).
The battle for CTRL begins June 1, 2014 at 10/9C on AMC. Enjoy this trailer.
