With Fox canceling Terra Nova, fans were left wondering just how the series might have been resolved.
Now Fox wants to give you the chance to tell the story’s end–but there’s a small catch. You’ve got to buy the complete series DVD set.
If you do, you’ll be given a special code to enter on the official Terra Nova web site. There you can submit your own ending for the series using motion comics and online editing software.
The web site promises to provide lots of images and visual effects material so that your vision of how the show ends can be fully realized.
Of course, if you don’t want to purchase the set you can always tell us how you think it will end. And Brian will, of course, mock you.
Tim says
We all know how it ends: a big “cancelled” stamp on the show order.
John Keegan says
Um…that’s not how THE story ends. It’s how one person thinks the story should have ended!
Sounds to me like the producers/writers didn’t have a clue where they were going, and this is just a fancy way to get around it…LOL…
NotMe says
So, I guess all three people that actually buy the DVDs for this show will submit ideas?
Dan Vzare says
I thought that the future stuff had ended up in the past due to the Bermuda Triangle. It would have made sense for a TV show to use that kind of thing, although in reality, it’s just plain stupid.
Mich67 says
meh…why bother…it’s over…let it go.
Niklaus says
Hey Fox, go f— yourself! You wouldn’t pay to write the story for more than one season, thus failing to build on the whole premise, so why should I give you my money to tell you how I would like to have seen the series end? I didn’t even get to see the series build! Why would I GIVE you my creativity when you failed so miserably?! While you’re at it, why don’t you cancel Firefly, too, you syphilitic sons-of-a-Tijuana-donkey? muttermuttermutter, grumblegrumblegrumble…
Phyllis Teresa says
Yeah, what Niklaus said. And all you kids get off my lawn.
Seriously, how low can Fox go? This is undoubtedly not its lowest but this is certainly very low.
DanB says
Oh my goodness! I just snargled through my nose at your reply. I totally agree with you. However, it is not just Fox doing this. I believe this to be starting a trend in HW. Why pay some writer high wages, when you can get what you want for free from the fans. I mean, look at all the fan made Star Trek that has a complete life of its own without the networks control. I suspect, this show may wind up like ST and be recreated by the fans and do a much better job of it than Fox ever could.

Shadoglare says
I wasn’t aware *anybody* knew how the story ended – I didn’t think anybody was still watching it by that point…
Loki says
Maybe that gigantic cattle fence became the earth’s largest prehistoric bonfire?
Christopher Young says
something about a giant four-toed foot, I think…
John says
I think it ended with the fact that the portal really killed everyone and they just didn’t know it. They all meet up in a church at the end and move on together..
