Are the Yeti Coming Back to “Doctor Who?”

Are the Yeti Coming Back to “Doctor Who?”

January 9, 2012 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

The long-rumored return of the Yeti to Doctor Who could happen this season.

According to Doctor Who TV, the furry monsters first seen during Patrick Troughton’s tenure as the Doctor are in line for a return appearance this season.

Right now, this one is just a rumor and it’s been a rumor that has sprung up each of the past couple of seasons.  So, until we get something official from the BBC, we’ll take this one as an interesting rumor and with a grain of salt.

And also, encourage the BBC to consider a return visit by the Zygons….

Actually while I am thinking about it, I remember reading about the possible return of the Nimon for this years series and then being disappointed with what we actually got. Not that is was a bad episode but I really wanted the Nimon to come rolling in and kick some butt.

The Yeti were my first hide-behind-the-couch monsters, when I saw them at age 4. I’d love to see them return, but only if they’re scary enough to make another generation of kids scared to go down into the London Underground. Misery loves company. 😉
