When “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” hit stores a couple of summers ago, writer J.K. Rowling said that it was the end of the best-selling fantasy saga.
And while she said she might revisit the world in a decade or so, it appears she could be thinking of a move back to the wizarding world of Potter sooner than that.
On “Oprah” Friday, Rowling revealed that she’s been kicking around ideas for another installment. And that she feels she has enough ideas for three more potential installments in the best-selling fantasy series.
“I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, tenth,” she said. “I’m not going to say I won’t. I don’t think I will … I feel I am done, but you never know.”
Of course, the people happiest to hear this news were Warner Brothers executives. Three more novels could mean three more movies for the studio.

Well, according to what Rowling’s said about the power trio post-Deathly Hallows, Harry and Ron went and became wizard cops. So that could be fun.

I’d love to see something within the HP universe, but maybe from somewhere else in the world? Or at some different time; I just don’t want to read any more about this cast.
Maybe we could see more of that french or that hungarian school beyond the hopelessly stereotypical glimpses from Goblet of Fire. 😛

I’m still hoping for a book or two about the founding of Hogwarts.

Or a book or two about Voldemort’s rise to power, ending with the killing of Harry’s parents?
There a lot of places and times that could be explored.
