Director Christopher Nolan has made it official–he’ll be back to the direct the Dark Knight for a third time.
“It’s becoming inevitable, I’ll put it that way,” Nolan tells Empire Online of “Batman 3.” “I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and I’m pretty excited about what we’re doing so… If I haven’t announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that I’m doing it.”
Empire went on to point blank ask the director is he’s doing the next Batman and he said, “I think you can at this point, yes.”
Now all the project needs is a script. Nolan is currently working with his brother, Jonathan on the story.
The movie already has a release date of July 30, 2012. Nolan has said that he’d like to film the follow-up to “Dark Knight” entirely on IMAX cameras.
