Man Turns Mail Truck Into Street-Legal Viper

Man Turns Mail Truck Into Street-Legal Viper

April 13, 2010 By Mike Hickerson 3 Comments

Imagine driving through your home town when you look over and see a Colonial Viper.

No, it’s not a reboot of “Galactica 1980.”

Instead it could be Dean Shorey, driving a mail truck that he’s converted into a Colonial Viper from “Battlestar Galactica.”

According to Jalopnik, Shorey is the master ride mechanic for Seabreeze Amusement Park in Rochester, NY.

Shorey is an expert in car restoration and converted a mail truck into the Viper.  He’s also a big fan of the original “BSG.”

No word yet on if or when he might work on a Cylon raider.
