The British newspaper The Guardian has published its list of the science-fiction and fantasy novels that everyone should read. The list is part of the 1000 novels the paper has determined everyone should read in his or her lifetime.
The list is extensive, varied and weighted a bit toward the British output. However, it is interesting and it does cover a wide range of novels and stories, many of which are considered the gaints of the genre and some which may take readers by surprise.
Head over and have a look at the list and maybe scribble down a few to read or re-read. I found at least half a dozen that I’d like to read.
