SciFi Channel’s upcoming series “Warehouse 13” has filled out its writing staff according to SciFi Wire.
Writing for the series will come from executive producers Jack Kenny David Simkins and Dana Baratta, supervising producer Drew Goodard, and co-producers Matt Federman and Steven Scaia. The rets of the writing staff includes Bob Goodman, Tamara Becher and Ben Raab and Deric Hughes.
“Warehouse 13” stars Eddie McClintock, Joanne Kelly, and Saul Rubinek. After saving the life of the president, two Secret Service agents find themselves abruptly transferred to Warehouse 13, a massive top-secret storage facility in windswept South Dakota, which houses every strange artifact, mysterious relic, fantastical object and supernatural souvenir ever collected by the U.S. government. The Warehouse’s caretaker, Artie (Rubinek), charges Pete (McClintock) and Myka (Kelly) with chasing down reports of supernatural and paranormal activity in search of new objects to cache at the Warehouse, as well as helping him to control the Warehouse itself.
The series was originally green-lit for a two-hour potential pilot. After seeing the pilot, SciFi signed off on a full series of thirteen episodes–eleven new episodes and the two-part pilot.Â
Production on the series will begin early next year and the “Warehouse 13” will debut on SciFi next summer.

FAKE THOMAS JEFFERSON!!!
Sorry, had to get that out of my system.
This series sounds interesting, if not entirely original, and I look forward to watching it.

Really? I don’t know. It just looks like another Scifi Channel show where a group of people investigate things beyond our understanding.
The shows got the writers, and it sets up a pretty good pitch. I’m just so jaded after being so disappointed by every single scifi original series that comes out if its not Stargate or BSG.
What SCIFI needs right now is another breakthrough hit. They need something else that does not march b the same drum, and spin offs arn’t going to cut it. And sadly, I don’t think Warehouse 13 will keep me tuned into SCIFI after BSG is gone. I will give it a shot so don’t shoot me down here. I just can’t get excited for any new shows on SCIFI right now.

I can’t wait for this new show to begin. I think the SciFi channel will succeed with this new show. I think they did a great job in selecting Eddie McClintock for this role. Saw him in Bones and really liked his acting.
It would be nice to be e-mailed when the pilot and episodes will begin so I can be sure to watch.
Way to go SciFi!
